The Internalional Building Code and the Intemational <br />Residential Code statc that all permits expire if the work authorized by lhe permits is suspended <br />or abandoned for a period of 180 days aIler the work is commenced. Work under Uiese permits <br />will no lon�er be authorized unless yoie <br />1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br />your last inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of'the work that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing justifiablc cause fbr extension. <br />Please respond wilhin 10 days. After that time your permit file w �Il be sent to our Records <br />llepartment for microfilming without final approval. These records are available to prospective <br />buycrs and lending institutions. If you wish to resume work in the future, a new pennit must be <br />oblained.
