These comments <br />address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such <br />as Utilities, Pianning or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />State of Washington and /or Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />1. The plans as submitted do not meet the prescriptive requirements for lateral and seismic bracing per <br />Sections 2326.4, 2326.5.4.1, 2326.11.3, 2326.11.4 and Table 23-I-W. All braced wall panels shall be <br />clearly indicated on the plans. <br />2. Provide section and details of interim stairway showing: <br />a. Maximum rise and minimum run. <br />b. Minimun width of 36"/1006.2. <br />c. Minimum headroom of 6-8"/1006.15. <br />d. Framing (stringer size, bracing, connections, footings). <br />3. Provide section of guardrail at interior. <br />4. Provide foundation for front porch. Show construction of front porch. Provide detail(s) for exterior <br />handrail. Elevation views show stairs from rear deck. Provide detail of exterior stairs or remove <br />stairs from elevation views. <br />5.
