Woodstoves and fireplaces have outside combustion air ducted to <br />firebox, with accessible damper. (Min. - 6 sq. in. net free vent area) <br />11. Fireplaces have tight-fitting flue dampers. <br />12. All gas or oil combustion appliances have direct vent or forced draft <br />venting. <br />13. Recessed lights are I.C. rated, double wall can lights. <br />14. 6 mil black visqueen ground cover in crawl space. <br />Air Sealing: <br />?. Al1 plumbing, electrical a�d HVAC penetrations in floors, wall and <br />cei�ings are caulked and sealed. <br />2. Where penetrations need a firestop, discuss with your building <br />department. <br />3. Electrical outlet and light switch boxes on exterior walls must be <br />sealed at tt�� back of the receptical or sealed with face plate gaskets. <br />4.
