The Uniform Building Code <br />provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by tUe permit is suspended or <br />abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent <br />the �ermit from expiring without iocumentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document contiauing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Svbmit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent ro our Records Department <br />for microfilming without final approval.
