�; CONBR�CO <br />The Conbraco Series 40-100 Double Check <br />Valve Backflow Preventer is designed to control <br />croas connections between potable water lines <br />and substances that are objectionable, but not <br />a health hazard. It is a compact, economical <br />device that is easily repaired in the line. <br />The devire consists o( two independent spring <br />loaded poppet check valves in a sinqle bronze <br />body. The un3t is equipped with ball type test <br />cocks and comes standard with ball type shut- <br />oEf valves. All parts are made oI corrosion <br />resistant materials. <br />The check valves and springs are interchanqe- <br />able for ease of repa3r and are easily [ield <br />tesYed. May be installed horizonkally or <br />vertically. <br />OPERATION <br />During normr.l flow condittons, the two check <br />valves are held off their ssats, supplyinq water <br />downstream. Each check valve is designed to <br />maintain a minimum of 1 PSI across the valve <br />during normal operation.
