That I cus- <br />tomarily do contract .rork ior private partier and 1oca1 contractors <br />throughout the Snohomish County area. <br />That on October 30, 1980, I was hired by Silver Homes Corporation <br />to use his Case 350 cat to cut and Uackfill an alley located adj�cent <br />to 2120 Main. Street in Lowell. That in the course of this work, <br />approximately 12 10-yard dump _rucics of pit run were brought in and <br />deposited. Some of these loads were dumped in one place and were <br />spread using the cai.. Othsrs, i•�ere spread by the truck itself an�l the <br />cat was used for even grading. Throughout the course of tnis filling <br />GPcc�f'/%!/Pi�n.(1S <br />a vibrapack cnmpactor was towed behind the cat. The vibrapack in addi- <br />tion to the drum, had its own diesel engine so as to cause vibration <br />during the compacting. <br />ThaC I tias personally present when each truck was dumped. That <br />a11 the m�terial used in constr.uction of this alley appeared to Ue of <br />good quality pit run, free and clear of all debris. ThaC during my 20 <br />years of experience of Uuilding roads I have gained much experience <br />and am able to discern atid distinguish g�od q�tality pit run material <br />fron other fi11 materials, <br />That the material was compacted in 7.ifts of 6 inches to 8 inches <br />each.
