Air Sealing: 1 . All plumbing, electrical and HVAC penetrations in floors, wall and ceilings are caulked and sealed. 2. Where penetrations need a firestop, discuss with your building department. 3. Electrical outlet and light switch boxes on exterior walls must be sealed at the back of the receptical or sealed with face plate gaskets. 4.
