A RESOLUTION pursuant ro the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, authorizing the demolition and clearing of the detached�arage from the property at 1 I I S Hoyt Avenue. WI�REAS, the City of Everett has found the detached garage on the located at 1115 Hoyt Avenue to be dangerous to the health, safety and welfare of the public pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dan�erous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Of�icial issued a `Supplemental Notice and Order" requiring the owners of the property to repair or demolish and remove the building from the property; and WI-IEREAS, the City Council finds that the repair or demolition of the buildings has not taken place as required in the Order; and WI-IEREAS, the City Council finds that the Bu�lding Official has the authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Code for tlie Abatement of Dan�erous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners have been given notice. of this Council meeting; and VI�IEREAS, the City Council upon due consideration, deems it in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the public that a Resolution be adopted requiring the demofitio� of the detached garage. NOW, TI-�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR TI-IE CITY OF EVERETT: Section 1: That the detached garage located at l 115 Hoyt Avenue, Everett, 7✓ashin�on, which is legally described as follows, contains conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the public: The North 20 feet ofLot 8, and all ofLot 9, Block 221, THE HEIGHTS ADDITION TO EVERETT, as per plat recorded in Volume 3 ofPfats on Page�40, recerds of Snohomish County; Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington.
