<br /> am quite sure -- no[ written by you, but by another party of different
<br /> gender, I will instead ask for your consideration and forebearance in
<br /> a situation I have been trying to control and your understanding of a
<br /> situation which requires more Cime [han has been given,
<br /> I have no desire to try to say that these buildings are in excellent
<br /> shape, However, it has been at the hands of tenants first and then vandals
<br /> that the greatest danaye has been done, Prior to that the Housing
<br /> Au[hority paid rent for tenants on these premises, A combination of
<br /> things , some mentioned above� brought the preJnises to their present
<br /> condition, not the least of which was city refusai to turn water back on,
<br /> 1 have been in process ( rp ior io a� involve�nent by the city)
<br /> of improving the premises and have been workiny through the p,U.D.
<br /> weatherization program on insulation and windows -- obviously work which
<br /> is done through contractors, with inspections, permits , etc, � have
<br /> also been pursuing -- and will continue to pursue -- CHIP participation,
<br /> Hcwever, I cannot do any[hing when I have conflict arising from personal
<br /> vendettas of a female ci [y employee who has previously been ordered not
<br /> to set foot on any property of mine without first havino written permission
<br /> fram me -- not only by me but by her two previous City of Everett bosses,
<br /> Please bear with me, I am in process of bringing these build(ngs
<br /> back up to proper habitability, t certainly have hot had them In khls
<br /> condltfon for any perfod falntly resembling many others (n thls city
<br /> tha[ have been e [rue nulsance and cost the city large sums -- such as Che
<br /> Monte Cristo Hotel to name just one, These buildinas have heen a tre-
<br /> mendous negative cash flav to me, end I certainly care more about
<br /> reversing that situation than eny of you do. However, I do need so,ne
<br /> cooperaCion and consideration Instead ot threa[s -- as a certain saneone
<br /> on tlie ci [y payroll seems fond of dainy, We have 6oarded up and locked
<br /> doors and windows elmost daily, but vandals continue to break in reyard-
<br /> less of what we do. . Wa have asked for police [o chack at ni9ht, but
<br /> don�t get that cooperation efther, We have been frustrated at almost
<br /> every turn, 6u[ have continued to move forward with, acimittedly, limited
<br /> financial resources,
