The City oi Everett Planaing and Co�unity Development Director has <br /> found the garage situated on the aoove described property to be in <br /> violation of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings <br /> as adooted by the City oz Everett. The following deficiencies render <br /> the garage to be dangerous pursuant to Section 302 ot the Unifor� Code <br /> for t!te Abatement of Dangerous Buildings: <br /> 1. Thc roof of the garaoe is deteriorated and ralling apart. <br /> 2. Framing members of the roof are split, sagging, rotted and may <br /> fall there6y endangering the life, health, property and/or sazety <br /> of the nublic. <br /> 3. Tltn uuildi,tg is an attractive nuisance to �inor children i❑ the <br /> area. <br /> III. 1^.ie above described buildings siiali either be renaired in accordance <br /> with the current City oY Everect �3uilding Code, Elec[rical Code, <br /> Plumoing Code, Plechanical Code and all regulations of the City ot <br /> Evere[t relating to the conditiou, location or structure of t:�e <br /> buildings, or the buildings shall be demolished. <br /> IV. Since the buildings are uninhabitable in their present condition, they <br /> shall remain vacant until such time as the buildings are repaired �.n <br /> accordance c,ith the present Building Co3e or demolished. <br /> V. If the owners elect to repair the buildings i❑ accordance with the <br /> current Uniform Duilding Code, Electrical Code, Plumbing Code, <br /> hiechanical Code and all regulations of the City of Evere[t relating to <br /> the condition, location or structure of the buildings, all required <br /> permits must be secured thereYore, and the work, including mowing and <br /> cleaning up the yard, shall be physically commenced within siaty (60) <br /> days oi the date of t4is Order. all [dork must be completed in <br /> compliance with the requirements of all applicable codes witliin ninet� <br /> (S9) days of the date of the Order. <br /> VI. FE thc owners elect to demolish the buildings, all required permits <br /> mt:st h� secured therefore w3thin thirty �30) days of the date of this <br /> Order. Such demolition must be completed within (60) days of the <br /> issuance of the required permits. <br /> VII. If the required repair work or demolition is not commenced within the <br /> time set forth in Paragraphs V. and VI. , the City of Everect will order <br /> the buildings to remain vacated and proceed to cause the buildings to <br /> be demolished lnd charge the cose, t:iereof against the property and/or <br /> the owners. <br />
