II. The City oi Everett Planning and Community Development Director has <br /> found thP garage situated on the above described property to be in <br /> violation oP the Uniform Code for the Abatemea� of Dangerous Buildings <br /> as adopted by the City or Everett. The folloWing deficiencies render <br /> the garage to be dangerous pursuant co Section 302 ot the UniYora Code <br /> for the Abatemenc of Dangerous Buildings: <br /> 1. The roof of the garage is deterioraced and falling apart. <br /> 2, Framing members of the roof are split, sagging, rotted and may <br /> fall thereby endangering the life, liealth, propercy and/or safety <br /> of the public. <br /> 3. The uuilding is an attraccive nuisance to minor children in the <br /> area. � <br /> IZI. ?'ie aoove described buildings siiall either be r=naired ia accordance <br /> with the curren[ City oi Everecc Building Code, Eleccrical Code, <br /> Plumoing Code, :•Iechanical Code and all regulations of the C3ty oi <br /> Everett relating to the condition, location or structure of the <br /> huildings, or the buildings shall be demolished. <br /> IV. Since the buildings are uninhabitable in their preaent condition, they <br /> shall remain vacant until such time as the buildings are repaired in <br /> accordance with the present Building Code or demolished. <br /> V. If the owners elect to repair the buildings in accordance with the <br /> cunent Uniform Building Code, Electrical Code, Plumbing Code, <br /> Mechaaical Code and all regulations ot the City of Everect relating to <br /> the condition, locaCion or structure oL the buildings, all required <br /> permits must be secured therefore, and the aork, including mowing and <br /> cleaning up the yard, shall be physically commenced withia sisty �60) <br /> days oz the date of this Order. ?11 ldork must be completed in <br /> campliaace with the requirements of all applicable codes within ainety <br /> (90) days of the date of the Order. <br /> VI. If the owners elect to demolish the buildings, all required permits <br /> mus� be secured theretore within thirty �30) days of the date of this <br /> Order. Such demolition must be completed withia �60) days of the <br /> issuance of the required permits. <br /> VII. If the required repair work or demolition is not commenced within the <br /> time se[ forth in Paragraphs V. and VI. , the City of Everect will order <br /> the buildings to rema3n vacated and proceed to cause the buildings to <br /> be demolished and charge the coscs tliereof against the property and/or <br /> the owners. <br />
