We retained (as is) the Torch-down Roof its <br />" rafters and the swcturai header beam (4X I 2) that supported ihe roof <br /> structure. The rooC is const�ucted of framing using 2X8 ra!ters on 24 inch <br /> �enters. They are atta�hed to the west side of die house just below the roof <br /> eve, and ron west fur a lengii� of]0 feet. They support 3/4 inch sheeting sub <br /> roof and composition torch-��o��m rolled top roofin�. This part of the stn�cture <br /> was not changed during tF�e reconstruction proces5. <br /> From the existing r:�of down, changes was made to the following <br /> specitications 1nd dimensions. <br /> After removing the detcriated deck and Floor joist, as well as th� rest oi that <br /> old ccivered deck, we pored a cement slab d�at was laid over 8(ei�ht) inciies of <br /> cnished rock bed with a moisture bearer of 1(?. inch .Alum Foil insulation <br /> bchvecn thc crushed rock and cem:nt.
