WASHINGTON <br />An inspection of the referenced building was conducted by this <br />division on February 7 and the following deficiencies were found. <br />1. The complete wiring system was found to be inadcgate and <br />must be replaced. <br />2. A new electrical service must be provided. <br />3. The house shows considerable settlement about the perimeter. <br />A new solid concrete or masonry foundation must be <br />constructed. <br />4. These are signs of deterioration of the sole and sill plates <br />and the bottom ends of the studs in the exterior walls. <br />All siding within the lower 2 to 3 feet of the walls should <br />be removed for adequate inspection of these members. <br />5. The roof on the rear part of the building leaks. k.ist be <br />replaced. <br />6. Front and rear porches are unsafe and must be replaced. <br />7. The water heater must be replaced and a complying pressure <br />zQ4j c' relief valve provided. <br />R. The water heater shall be revented with approved gas vent <br />duct. <br />9. All floors shall be leveled. <br />10. All bedroom windows shall comply with Sections 1404 and <br />1405 of the Building Code. <br />11. Several windows show signs of rot about the frames. These <br />windows must be repaired or replaced. <br />12. There is not 6 feet 6 inches of head room at the top of <br />the stairs. The roof section in this area shall be <br />reconstructed to achieve clearance. <br />13. New roof flashing required at vent pipes. <br />14. warm air furnace shall be vented with approved gas type <br />vent. <br />15. The house needs to be cleaned and repainted inside and out. <br />The house appears to be of solid construction and with the correction <br />of the above items this house could be brought back to an adequate <br />standard. <br />i <br />
