August 2, 1974
W. P. Brust, D.D.S.
B-T Development Company
3030 Hoyt Avenue
Everett, Washington 98201
Dear Dr. Brust:
Your letter of July 25, 1974 concerning the derelict
structures in the Riverdale Addition has been received.
The lot is badly overgrown but access to the structures
is very simple if you approach the buildings from -he
proper direction. There is a well defined pathway to
the house a.nj a large amount of evidence that it is
being used by transients, i.e. recently dated "nudie"
magazines, fresh footprints, melted candle wax, several
items of clothing and food containers.
The inspection of the structure was made by Mr. Budden
on June 19, 1974. Notification to the owner prior to
the inspection of an abandoned building is not required.
(Ordinance 315-74)
As these structures in their present state are a potential
danger to the community we must advise you to demolish
and remove the buildings as soon as possible.
I will withhold further action on the matter for twenty
120) days and will be glad to discuss the matter with you
at any time.
Sincerely,
Robert K.
