The application was fonvarded ?o the City Planning Department for review. Upon planning review, it was discovered that the type of business use you are proposing (main!y office) is perm;tted in the underlying zone, however the building you have selected to occupy is not recognized as being constructed for office space. All Ciky records show the building located at 3111 Hoyt Avenue as a muitiple family resider,ce. Sectian 41.070 of the City of E�:erett Zoning Code states that "any structure which was construc.'ed for one type ef use which is changed to another use which requires different zoning code or buildir,y code standards shall not be approved until a use qernit has been issued by the Plsnning Department." In order for your business license to be issued, a Use Permit application must be filed and completed with the Planning Department. We are hoping to get �his matter resolved in a timely fashion, so I have enclosed an application packet. Action on this matter should be caken withiii two weeks from the date of this letter.
