Betectors shall be installed on each floor and in basements. Smoke <br />detectors in new bedrooms in basement shall be hard-wired with battery back-up. <br />11. Show how the existing 3rd bedroom complies with the following requi:ements of UBC: <br />a. At least une operable window or door is required from each sleeping room. The <br />minimum net clear open able area is 5.7 sq. ft. The minimum ne� :lear open able <br />height is 24". Minimum width per 310.6.3 UBC <br />e. Light and ventilation per Section 1203.2 and l2033 UBC <br />f. Ploor area per 310.6.2 UBC <br />12. Provide minimum 50 cfin exhaust fan in bat�iroom vented to the exterior. <br />13. Provide cross section through mechanical room. Show compliance with Section 310 UBC. <br />14. All exterior entrance/exits are required to have a landing at not more than 8" below the <br />finished floor. A door shall not open onto an exterior stair. <br />15.
