Thi.s i.s done b} <br />a Statutory Warranty Deed being filled out at and executed by <br />the iublic i9orks Denartment. <br />Mr. Plillis Haus r.epr�sented the church and mentioned the fence has <br />been censtructed and he feels they have complied wi.th the ten (10) <br />foot setbac}: needed by the City. The church will also be willing <br />to inclucle �vood slats in the fence if the City deems it necessary. <br />Also, more landscaping including ivy caill be placed on each side cf <br />the £ence if necessary. They now have mounds u£ beauty bark on <br />each side of the fence with shrrF� and greenery for landscaping. <br />Mr. Bob Hi11 from the audience said he £elt the olanting of ivy <br />and caood slats in the fence would be detrimental. The slats <br />would make the fence more obv�ous and the present landscaping has <br />bee: professionally done. <br />There was no further comment from the audience. <br />After visually viewing the subject property and considering all <br />the facts anfl testimony it was moved by D1r. Hoagland, seconded <br />by Dir. Zook, and unanir,�ously carried to grant the applicant's <br />request as it meets all the re� irements of Section 19.70.060 of <br />the �verett Pfwiicipal Code, Parag'raFhs 1, 2, 3, and 4. <br />As a condition to the granting of the vari.ance the follocaing <br />stipulation was made: <br />That a deed for a ten (10) foot right-c,£-way be executed, ii necessary, <br />prior 'co the issuance of a permit for the fence and prior to the <br />variance becoming valid� In the event a future survey indicates <br />the fence would have to he moved because of the Casino Road Improve- <br />ment Project, the movement of the fence weuld be at the applicant's <br />expense. <br />A hearing was held on tlte applicati�n of Bert Cronin, Jr., 713 South <br />IIroadcaay, Suite A, Everett, i•7ashinc�ton 98204, for a variance from <br />Section 19.40.020 of the Everett �funicipal Code, Off-Street Parking, <br />for permi�sion to provide sixteen (1G) off-street uarking spaces <br />rathcr than the code requiremeni: of t�aei�ty-four (241 off-str�et <br />parking stalls for a proposed si�:tcen unit apartment. <br />r4 <br />�■ <br />
