City of Everett- Board of Adjustment <br />Minutes <br />August 6, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett Board of Adjustment was held at <br />7:00 p.m, in the City Hall Council Chambers. <br />Mr Russell presided; Mr. Elack, Mr. Zook, Mr. Hoagland and Mr. Wilson <br />were present. <br />Mr. Russell introduced the Board members to the audience. <br />IA hearing was held on the application of Frank E. Wilcox, 3414 Hoyt <br />Ave, Everett, WA. 98201. For a variance from Section 19.20.050 <br />Everett Municipal Code Yard requirements, Paragraph B. For permission <br />to continue the South wall and to construct to within 1 foot 10 inches <br />from the South property line rather than the Code Requirement of <br />1 Five ,5) feet. <br />Lots: N� Lot 25, all Lot 26, Block <br />825, Plat of Everett Div. -A. <br />Zoning: R-4 Multiple Family High <br />Density Residence Zone <br />Address: 3414 Hoyt Ave. <br />Mr. Wilson represented himself and made the following statements: <br />1. It would be expensive to remove and replace the existing <br />concrete slab. <br />2. He has lived in the house for 4k years. <br />3. There was an old existing garage on the concrete slab <br />but was torn down because of its size and age. <br />There was no opposition from the audience. <br />After visually viewing the subiect property and considering all the <br />facts it was moved by Mr. Wilson seconded by Mr. Black and unanimously <br />carried to grant the applicant's request as it meets all the require- <br />ments of Section 19,70.060 of the Everett Municipal Code Paragraphs <br />1, 2, 3, & 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of David If. Dav:.s, 8809 3rd. <br />Ave. S.E., Everett, Wash. 98203, for a variance from Section <br />19.14.030 of the Everett Municipal Code, Minimum Lot Size and Width, <br />for permission to provide Lot 2 of a proposed short plat with 6,982.04 <br />square feet of property for construction of a single family residence <br />rather than the code requirement of 7,000 square feet of land area <br />for the construction of a single family residence. <br />Legal Description of David Davis shortplat: <br />
