To
From
.Jim Langus
Larry Callahan
Date: August 26, 1983
Subject: 3420 Hoyt - Mobile Home ' i
On August 18, 1983 wp were informed that a mobile home
(apprx 12 ft x 40 ft) was being set up in the rear
yard of 3420 Hoyt.
Doug Budden and I made an inspection of the site on
8,118/83 and 8/23/83 and eyeballed the situation and
determined the following:
1. Yes, it is sitting in the rear yard of
3420 Hoyt.
2. No permits have been issued to place the
mobile home in the rear yard.
3. The mobile home is not in a condition to
live in and not being lived in.
4. The existing Mobile Home Park Ordinance and
Zoning Code do not permit mobile homes any
where but in either it mobile home park or
the A-1 zone.
S. There are no codes or ordinances that I am
aware of that will prohibit the storage of
this albatross in their rear yard.
6. We will continue to keep a close eye.on this
situation to determine what their intents are
and take appropriate action when this deter-
mination has been formulated.
7. There are more unsightly items in the rear
yard than the mobile home ie: partially dis-
mantled car, stainless steel beer keg, rotten
lumber, etc.
As this area is of older homes and predominantly senior
citizens of whom Iam acquainted with several, we will
be more than willing to do whatever we legally can to
eliminate this albatross.
This neighborhood is my old youthful stomping ground.
