The building code defines a congregate residence as "any building <br />or portion thereof that contains facilities for living, sleeping and sanitation as required by <br />this code, and may include facilities for eatinS and cooking, for occupazicy by other than <br />a family..." The revised classification to R-3 further sets a limit nf ] 0 persons or less <br />served by the building. <br />Provided the above mentioned operating parameters are acceptable to your operation and <br />situstion, we will reclassify the occupancy of the building upon receipt oCthis letter <br />countersigned by you or your organization which acknowledges the above stated <br />requirement> (notc that we already have your permit applicatioo and fee).
