A parapet is required on west wall of the addition. Sec. 1709(a). For buildings on the same property, the property line shall be assumed to be between them. Sec. 1103. Note exception 2 with the thought of pro- viding a 2-hour fire resistive roof for 5 feet inside the wall. / 2. lAdoustic tile should be specified to be 1-hour fire resistive tile for V compliance of a type V 1-hour building. Table 17A. 3. Penetrations through t':e 1-hour ceiling shall be protected for 1-L'�ur fire resistive construction. Recessed lights shall be 1-hour rated or shall be enclosed in 5 sided boxes constructed of 1-hour acoustic tile. Grilles shall have fire dampers or be protected. Other openings shall be protected. Sec. 4303(b)6. V- 4. Vertical structural members in the space above suspended ceilings shall have 1-hour fire resistive protection. Sec. 4304(b)6. S. If the largest piece of heating equipment is over 400,000 B.T.U.'s input, the door to the mechanical room shall be 1-hour labeled, including frame and hardware, with automatic closer. Sec. 1108. 6.
