�i <br />�� <br />HOUSING CODE INSPECTION REPORT <br />FROM: MARIAN DENT, CITY OF �VERETT, HOUSING <br />DATE: MAY 5, 1995 <br />SUBJ: 4018 HOYT AVE, EVER�TT, VVA <br />Upon receiving a complaint from the tenant regarding the conditions of this residence, <br />an inspection was conducted and the following de6ciencies were noted pursuant to the <br />lJniform Housing Codes: <br />I. The electrical dimmer switch in the dinning room gets hot enough to <br />burn a hand at the touch of the switch. <br />2. The door on the back porch does not have a frame, is not securely <br />closed, and has a 9 foot drop on die outside. This is dangerous. <br />3. The clothes dryer is not vented to the exterior of the dwelling. <br />4. Tenant does not have access to the electrical service box which is located <br />in the lower dwelling unit. <br />5. The attic access cover, located in [he bathroom/laundry room, nmst be <br />consWcted with material other [han cardboard, and it must mect d�e <br />requirements of the Uniform Building Code. <br />6. The bathroom has been renovated without the required plumbing, <br />electrical and building pennits. <br />7. The building is dilapidated and lacking in maintenance. <br />8. The tenant stated that the sewer backs up in the basement unit. <br />9. 1'he premises are filled with junk, trash, and junk vehicles. <br />md:imcep� <br />
