.�; <br />HOUSING CODE INSPECTION REPORT <br />FROM: MARIAN DENT, CITY OF EVERETT, HOU�ING <br />DATE: MAY 5, 1995 <br />SUBJ: 4018 HOYT AVE, GV�RETT, W,A <br />Upon receiving a complaint from the tenant regarding the conditions of this residence, <br />an ir.spection was conducted and the following deficiencies were noted pursuant to die <br />Uniform Housing Codes: <br />1. :he electrical dimmer switch in the dinning room gets hot enough to <br />burn a hand at the touch of the switclt. <br />2. The door on Ihe back porch does not have a frame, is not securely <br />closed, and has a 9 foot drap on the outside. This is dangerous. <br />3. The dothes dryer is not vented to the exterior of the dwelling. <br />4. Tenant does not have access to the electrical service box which is located <br />in Uie lower dwelling uni[. <br />5. The attic access cover, located in the bathroom/laundry room, must be <br />conswcted with material other than cardboard, and it must meet the <br />requirements of the Uniform Building Code. <br />6. The bathroom has been renova[ed wiUiout [he requin i plum�ing, <br />electrical and building permi[s. <br />7. The building is dilapidated and lacking in mainterance. <br />8. The tenant stated that the sewer backs up in Ihe basement unit. <br />9. The premises am filled with junk, trash, and junk vehicles. <br />md:inmpt <br />
