These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11" x 17". 1. Provide building section at new exterior wall showing one -hour fire—resistant construction for the wall that encroaches into the 5'•0" side yard setback. 2. Provide minimum 50 CFM exhaust fan in proposed bathroom. 3. Label all spaces for the proposed use. 4. Projections in the 5'-0" side yard setback are required to be protected on the underside with 1- hour fire- resistant material. Provide detail showing construction. 5. Provide section/ detail of guard construction. Show how guard is attached to deck structure, include parallel and perpendicular (to deck joists) conditions. 6. Provide stair section and details including footings beams, posts, rise, run, handrail, guards and decking material. Show size and location of stringers, provide landing. 7.
