Mrs. Woolworth:
On January
26, 1988, an inspection was made of your property
located at
ty
2108
Hoyt. Avenue in the R-3 Multiple -family Low Density Residence
zone. This
y
inspection revealed that you had converted the duplex structure
located on
z
this
property into an eight (8) unit rooming house and the detached garage
y p C,
also
located on this property into four additional rooming units,
for a total
of twelve units on this property. Our records indicate that these
conversions
were
done without the benefit of the appropriate permits and without adherence
to the development requirements of the R-3 zone.
These are
violations of Sections 19.18.030, 19.40.020, 19.48.030, 19.64.010,
and 19.64.020
of the Everett Municipal Code. Copies of each have been
enclosed.
Due to the
serious nature of these violations, it is important that corrective
action be
taken immediately, which would include a reduction of the number of
{
units on
this property to conform with the density requirements of the R-3
Zone, the
provision of off-street parking as required for this use, and
obtaining
permits and inspections for the alterations you have made.
Please contact
Mr. James Hanson, Code Compliance Officer, at 258-8731 to
establish
a time -frame and program for the correction and elimination of these
violations by April 1, 1988. Failure to do so will make you subject to the
Penalties
for Violation of the Everett Municipal Code as provided for in
Ordinance
1383-87.
( ' { Sincerely,
DENNIS L.
