ECI eariier prepared the referenced geotechnical study and letter for the <br /> project. Our services included providing on-site obssrvations for foundation, slab, and parking <br /> lot subgrade, utility backfill, and rockery construction. <br /> ECI representati�es made sixteen i16) site viSitS between April 6, 20Q4 and Septomber 16, <br /> 2004, to observe the earthwork construction. ECI representatfves were on-site on a part <br /> time basis during foundation excavation, utility backfilling, rockery construction, and subgrade <br /> preparation. <br /> Twenty-five (25) field density tests were conducted on utility backfill and infiltration pond <br /> berms. All density tests were conducted in accordance with ASTM 7est Designetion D-2922 <br /> (Nuclear Gauge Method). Tvao representative soil samples were returned to our laboratory for <br /> maximum dry density tests in accordance with ASTM 1557-91 IModified Proctorl.
