Findina: There are several other homes in the vicinity <br /> � that have large rear decks and sone of them appe:;r to <br /> � exceed the height limitation. <br /> � b. Concl�sion: Granting this variance would allow the owner <br /> a property right already possessed by others in the <br /> vicinity and zone. <br /> rr;tPrion No. 3: <br /> That the authorization of such variance will not be materially �. <br /> detzimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in the � <br /> vicinity or zone in which the property is located. <br /> a. Findina: The deck does not block anyone's view and the <br /> adjacent owner to the north where the deck exceeds the <br /> height limitation had constructed a six foot high board <br /> fence on the property line prior to the applicant <br /> building the deck. The privacy screen constructed on the <br /> north end of the deck also provides additional privacy <br /> for the home to the north. <br /> b. �onclusion: It does not appear that granting this <br /> variance would be detrimental to the public welfare or <br /> injurious to other proPerty in the vicinity and zone. <br /> (`TIYPTiOII NO._ 4: <br /> That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the <br /> Comprehensive General Plan. <br /> �� a. Findina: The Everett General Plan designation is sinqle <br /> ' fami.ly residential and the use is sinqle family <br /> � residenhial. <br /> b. �onclusion: Granting this variance would not adversely <br /> affect the Everett General Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Boatd of Adjustment of the City of Everett <br /> does hereby order that the variance be GRANTED as requested by the <br /> applicant and further require the applicant to meet the following <br /> conditions. <br /> 1.
