  .
o
Juue 7, 1999
Jane immer:nan
City of Everett
Public Works Departnient
3200 Ceclar Street
verett, WA 98201
Re: Community Transit Kasch Par•k Mainten.ance Faci.lity Expunsion— Otah i
Project No. H8359.K01
Dear NIs. Zimmermaa:
nclosed are copies of thc plan set for the above referenced projecC which have been
submitted for review and approval. I am sending these to you in advance along with t.iis
letter to confirm that we have addressed the sta•mwater cnditions for the project,
consistent with the City's requirements and our earlier i,elephone conversations.
The prouosed project is part oF the phased developmeu o£the site in accordance wih the .
revised Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for SEPA #G-83 (dated July 21, 1993)
and tlie P'indings and Deciion of the Hearing saminer for the approval of the amendment
to Concomitant Agreement#953-53 (Rezone#1-83; dated September 19, 1993). Tlte
stormwater detention and water quality treatment facilities f'or the site were designed by
Reid Middleton and installed under aa earlier project. These facilities were intended to be
designed with a capacity for the iiltimnte Uuildoat condition approved in the SPA and
Concomitant AgreemenC.
The uetertion vault, flow control structure, and bio5ltration system were designed for a
developed site condition with total impeivious area o£ 13.I acres, nn increase of 5.0 acres,
accordine to Reid IVIiddleton's final storimvater calculations (File#21-93-011-002•Q,
August 24, 1993). The proposed project, as shown in the enclosed plans, results in total
i.mpervious area uf 12.2 acres, including building roof areas. This is much less than the
design value of 13.1 acres. Also, the proposed improvemente reduce the total paveri surface
area subject to vehicular use by approximately 8 i 5 square feet (0.02 acees). ror this
reason, the storm, rater improvements proposed are limited to collection and conveyance.
o C ( Od n .-
F..CNITECTUPE I
620 nirkland WdY SOIC 100 If IAI O '-MGNEEAING
kirkland, washington 98033-6021
1r, LA MOSCqPE
(St) G22-4M146 KHCM.TECTIIRE
.. .... ....................
GITY OF EVERE'fT """"'"`
SURVEYIlIG S
faz (425) 827-9577 Permit Services
WYJK'.OtdA.CCRI MRPPIRG
 UPOqN pE51GN
J.rnr n;v\\Ipll!lyvrcn'g Im.µl
