II The City of Everett Building Official has found Ihe building situated on [he <br /> above described property to be in such a condition that it may endanger the life, <br /> limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the public. The following <br /> described conditions render the building dangerous pursuant ta the provisions of <br /> the Uniformi Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, Sec. 302. <br /> 1. The building is dilapidateci, deteriorated, and decayed to such an extent <br /> that it is manifesdy unsafe for the purpose for which it is being used. <br /> 2. The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to <br /> such bu]dings provided by the building regulations of this jurisdiction, <br /> as specified in the Building Code and adopted by Ordinance of this <br /> jurisdiction relating to the condition of buildings. <br /> 3. The building has become an attractive nuisance to inquisitive mi� ors. <br /> 4. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance <br /> known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br /> Ill. The abo�e described building shail eilher be repaired in accordance H�ith all <br /> current Building Code requirements and all other applicable codes or <br /> demolished. <br /> IV. If the owner elects to repair the buildings in accordance with the current <br /> Building Cocie requirements, all required permits must be secured therefore, and <br /> the work physically commenced within sixty (GO) days of the date of this Order. <br /> All work must be completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br /> V. If the owner elecis to demolish the buildir.g, all required permits shal] be <br /> secured therefore withiii thirty (30) days of the date of lhis ordec Such <br /> demolition must be completed within sixty (GO) days trom the date of this <br /> Order. <br /> VI. Since the building is uninhabitable in its presen[ condition, it shall be kept <br /> securc;d from unauthorized entry and remain vacant until such time as tlie <br /> building is repaired in accordance with the current Building Code or <br /> demolished. <br /> Vli. If the requirements set forth in Paragraphs iV, V, and VI above are not <br /> complied with, the City of Everett will order the building to remain vacated and <br /> procecd to cause the building to be demolished and charge the costs thereof <br /> agamst the property and/or its owner. <br /> VIII. Any person having any record title or legal interestin the buildir.gs may appeal <br /> from this Notice and Order to the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board. Such <br /> appeal must be in wriring as is requirccl in the Uniform Code for Ihe E�balement <br /> of Dangerous Buildings and filed with Uie Ciry of Everett Building Official <br /> within thirty (30) days from the dale of service of this Notice and Order. <br /> Failure lo appeal will constiwte a waiver of all right to an administrative <br /> hearing and determination of the matter. <br /> �4� � �- ��� �- �' � vui. 294 '7P�cE2390 <br />
