In addition, based on a Review Process II, <br /> approvaf is granted to allow the atrium portion of the <br /> building to exceed the 28 foot height limitation by an <br /> additional five feet. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Mike Hickey of the Neil Walter Company, 2102 North Pearl, Suite 302, Tacoma, <br /> WA 98401 (Applicant) requested approval of a Shoreline Management <br /> S�bstantial Development Permit (Shoreline Permit) for the construction uf an <br /> assisted living facilit;�, with associated parking, at the northeast corner of Lake <br /> Heights Drive and 19th Avenue SE (SR-527), Everett, WA (subja�i property). <br /> Because of the close proximity of the pr�ject to Silver Lake, a significant <br /> shoreline in the State of Washington, and, because the proposed projeci will <br /> �xceed the statutory minimum monetary threshold, a Shoreline Permit is <br /> required. In addition to the Shoreline Permit, the Appiicant sought Review <br /> Process il approval to allow the atrium portion of the building to exceed the 28 <br /> foot height limitation established for!his zone by an additional five feet to a <br /> height of 33 feet. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of <br /> Everett on May 14, 1998.
