1 SECTION 9-03, AGt3REGATES <br /> I 2 June 8, 1998 <br /> 3 9-03.1 Aggregates for Portland Cement Concrete <br /> 4 Sections 9-03.1(t) through 9-03.1(4)C are replaced with the following: <br /> � 5 <br /> � 6 9-03.1(1) General Requ(rements <br /> 7 Portland cement concrete aggregates shall bs manufactured from ledge rxk, <br /> 8 talus, or sand and gravel in acxordance with the provisions of Section 3-01. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Aggregates fc>und to be potentially reactive per AASHTO T 303 or ASTM C 1260 <br /> I 11 shall require: mitigating measures. Expansions greater than 0.10 percent <br /> 12 detertnined ,.�ccording to AASHTO T 303 or ASTM C 1260 will be considered to <br /> 13 be potentialYy reactive. Particles of specific gravity less than 1.95 ..... 1.0 percent by weight. <br /> I 42 <br /> 43 2.
