There appears to be some proof that the <br />main dwelling at 1421 is a nonconforming duplex, and that <br />the house in the back is legal. <br />The microfiche records include a letter from Everett Housing <br />and the owner in 1974. BOTH INDICATE TW.T THE BASEMENT IS <br />NOT TO BE USED POR OCCUPANCY. <br />I am in contact with the owner about the conversions. Have <br />you posted the garage or referred this to Tim? It is clear <br />by your report that there is some potential danger to the <br />tenants. other than advising the owner of the leak, has <br />anything else been done to protect the tenants? <br />I need to know this information when I speak to the owner <br />again next week. <br />Thank you. <br />cc: Jim Hanson <br />
