(One passage is <br />considered to be a pass in each direction, forvvard and backwards, over the same <br />strip of subgrade.) <br />Conventional Foundation Design Parameters: For the proposed structure we <br />rscommend the following geotechnical parameters be used in design and <br />construction of conventional spread footings bearing on the finn, competent, <br />redensified silty sand or sandy silt soil, or on compacted structural fill. <br />!!�axicnum recommended allowable soil <br />bearing pressure for a footing with a <br />rrtinirnum width of 18 inches, or a 3 to <br />5 foot sized column footing, and a <br />minimum burial depth of 18 inches <br />■ Maximum recommended allowable soil <br />bearing pressure for a footing with a <br />minimum width of 18 inches and a <br />burial depth of more than 2 feet and <br />supported on firrn and undisturbed or <br />thoroughly redensified in-situ silty sand <br />soil, or on nu less than 2 feet of <br />compacted structurai fill placed over a <br />redensified silty sand or sandy silt soil <br />Maximum recommended allowable soil <br />bearing pressure for footing with minimum <br />width of 3 fe?t and a burial depth of > 2 <br />feet supported on firm and undisturbed <br />or thoroughly redensified in-situ silty sand <br />or sand soil, or on nr.� less than 2 feet �f <br />compacted structural fill placed over a <br />redensified silty sand or sandy sil: soil <br />E <br />e <br />e <br />2,500 psf <br />3,000 psf <br />4,000 psf <br />
