We have investigeted our records, ns Nell as the actusl field condition of this drainage system to verify its location and condition. We found that an open catch besin exists between ihe homes at 1809 end 1813 Leland Drive that could pose a safety problem. Tne drainage system that crosses your property is not within the public right of w8y, nor has an easement been conveyed to the City for tae operation and maintenance of this system. City personnel can only work on utility systems that are within the public right of waY or in dedicated easements. The City would like to acquire the necessary easement eo our personnel can maintain this system in the future. We will begin our effort to acquire the easement as soon as we get your approval. To preclude any short-term problems asaociated with this drainage aystem, we ask that you give us right-of-entry permission while we prepare the easement documents. Your permission will be used to aliow our personnel to inetall a catch basin top and lid on the existing catch basin between the hoaea at 1809 and 1813 ieland Drive. For the long-term maintenance of the drainage system, you are requested to execute the formal eesement before a notary public, and send it back to this office For recording. Please find encloaed a copy of the right-of-entry £orm and our stendard utility easement form. Please sign and return the right-of-entry form end review the easement form. We will be contacting you in tLe future regarding the utility easement.
