We have discussed with the City Building Division partial use of the alley west of the Silveratone Building during the initial phase of the construction, until we gain access into the struc- ture aite, we will need partial use of portions of the alley for crane and truck use. H.wever, except for a few hours at a time, will accesa through the alley be completely blocked ofS, and in no event wil]. the alley access at r,i�ht be closed. This will allow any fire equipment or other erer�ency passage through the alle�;. After the first ten �iays of the demolition work, the only access we will need in the alley will be normal truck movement from ths south to thc city dump. When we are working in the alley, we wiZl have appropriate warning si�ns as well as flagmen to control any traffic prob- lem that may arise. and at all times the alley will be kept free of any building debrie. Extreme cau;;ion will be used to protect all overhead utilities in the alley. If any equipment is required on Col.by or Hewett Streets�, work will be done on Sunday and permits from th? Traffic Division will be strictly adhered to. Would you please take prompt action on this matter as we are an�ious to �et underway.
