One of the notes was that of notifying the contractor
that the awning must be supported entirely from the building
and be retractable in compliance with Section 4506 of the
building code.
A Buildiig Permit for the second floor remodel was issued on
February 10, 1975, eight days after application. At this time, and on several
occasiona thereafter, The applicant was advise? that the permit
to erect the awning in compliance with the Duil3ing Code would
be issued upon receipt of a letter stating that the awning would
be retractab:le and supported completely from the building.
Copies of our file are attached for your review.
