Oehlert's office with Bob Haggard,
Fred Oehlert, Jamie Johnson, and Joe Kozloveki to discuss what could be done
with the building permit procesa on Mr. Haggard's p].ane so that delays
could be avoided. This meeting had been prompted by the Beata Seibold
right-of-way use permit difficultiea.
Mr. Johnson reviewed the building permit proceas that had taken eight
(8) days based on the application of the contractor for the Seibold
Callery remodel. The awning was allowed by the building permit issed
February 10. However, the use of the sidewalk area for the posts re-
quired a righi-of-way use permit from the Enginecring Departmen[.
Thie right-of-way permit was applied for on March 4 and on April 1. The
owners were aeked for additional information which Mr. Haggard felt he
provided when he talked to what he termed as "several people" in the
Engineering Department.
CONCLUSION
IC was concluded that [he exiating building permit covered the installa-
tion of the awning on the building.
Mr. Haggard would con[act Mrs. Seibold• in regards to her letter and ad-
vise the City vhat future action would be taken in regards to the installa-
tion af the tao columne on the aidewalk.
The City would draft an agenda item for the City Council if Mra. Seibold
wanted [a proceed with the right-of-way uae permit.
JK:amv
cc: Jamie Johneon
Fred Oehlert
