T'he <br /> Intemational Building Code and the International Residential Code state that all permits expire if <br /> the work authorized by thc permits is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the <br /> work is commenced. Work under this permit will no longer be authorized unless you: <br /> 1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br /> your last inspection, or <br /> 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed,or <br /> 3) Submit a written request for a l80 day extension,detailing justifiable cause for extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time your pemiit file will be sent to our Records <br /> Department for microfilming without documentation of final approval. These records are <br /> available ro prospective buyars and lending institutions. If you wish to resume work in the <br /> future, a new permit must be obtained.
