I will have the general conVector incorporete these additional items as part of the permit for this project. • 1-floor separation between kitchen and upstairs residence is required. . The conVector is to use one of two ways to acoommodate this separation. • Add one layer of 5/8" flre rated g.w.b. to the kitchan oeiling or add '✓.' flocrirq over exisdng�."Iloori�g at the roeldenos above. • At the residenHal landing at the top of the stairs, put a rated frame and door at the existlng one-hour rated wall into the "Iiving room" space. • Add two battery-propelled smoke detectors in the residendal unit— one inside the "living room"space and one at the landing above the stairs. • The tenant would like to add a security gate to close off the access to the front door alcove. That gate is to be unlocked and open during business hours. M accordion-type gate is acxeptable. • The tenant would like a second exit out of the resfdenGal unit (it's not required).
