The purpose of this reinspection was to check your progress <br /> in correcting the violations listed in previous correspondence. The <br /> items listed remain in need of immediate attention: <br /> 1. Owelling units and hotels or lodging house guest rooms that are used for <br /> sleeping purposes shall be provided with smoke detectors. � <br /> All residential rooms - no working smoke detectors were noteA. The <br /> batteries were missing or disconnected in all roans in which contact <br /> was made r+ith occupants. The smoke detectors in the canrtron hallway <br /> '�' were inoperable as the batteries were a?so missing and disconnected. <br /> ��� 2. Maintain and have available for inspection a written record of test(s) of <br /> '�1 the fite protection equipment. Please mail a copy of the annual <br /> confidence test report for your fire alarm syste�n to the Everett Fire <br /> ' ' Marshal's Office located at 2811 Oakes llvenue, Everett, W11 98201. <br /> � <br /> Fire alarm p�ll stations were tripped during this fire; no alarm <br /> � ' sounded - system is out of service. Have this system repaired or <br /> ' replaced by a� alarm company and send docunented proof that this <br /> �. system is repaired and functioning properly. <br /> �� 3. Install an appro•�ed portable fire extinguisher with a U.L. rating of <br /> ' 2-A:10-B:C or more within 75 feet travel distance of all apartment units <br /> � on each floor level. <br /> � NOTE: A. Maximun of five feet to the top of the extinguisher. <br /> ' e. Install antifreeze in extinguisher(s) located outside. <br /> C. If theft or vandalism is a prablem, an extinguisher <br /> �t with a 1-A:10-B:C U.L. rating may be substituted in each <br /> apartment unit for the above extinguishers; owner to <br /> ' provide signed letter arnually stating same to the �ire <br /> � _ Prevention Bureau.
