Lho upper two floors h..ve apartmantc and rooms <br />to rent and there are five tenants in the buildin- boaldo the <br />owner. Three are on the tlti:,Id floor tmd two are on the 2nd <br />floor whoro the oumor also '_ ves. <br />The first floor. is occupied by "Tony's Tavcrn", a vacmit <br />store used for the storage of flam.able ratorials and a <br />barber ohon. The building has a baaer:ent which is on the <br />level of tiro alloy. <br />Tho basemont is clean and shows no evido:ice of -oor <br />maintenance. <br />The flrst floor has the following; items that would aid <br />t'ne spread of fire. q'hore is a lot of wall paper loose in the <br />rear of the barber shop and oo;e of the ,Master is off the <br />coilirs; and the east wall. 'Llioro is s,.mo flamable rubbish in <br />this area that should be hanlod out. <br />The Brea urcd for storage on the first floor, is used <br />in violation of the codo. Story;;o of _'lammable materials in <br />this building is not permitted raid all of this storage shmild <br />be romoved. <br />We have written tiro notices to the ourner on the tavern, <br />and among other things we have asked that the room in the roar <br />of the tavern be cleaned up and the itovo pipe from the oil <br />stovo, protected wiioro it goes throuj;h a von -our wall. Somo of <br />the items on t ace notices have been complied tdlth whilo some <br />,lave not. <br />
