The floor system is overloaded for any other purpose such as seles or storage. <br /> The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Daogerous Buildings(ADB)ueda Sxtion 302 <br /> provides that the stress in any tnaterials,member or portion thereof,due to all dead and <br /> live loads,may be no greater than one and one half times the working stress or stresses <br /> allowed in the Building Code for new buildings of similar shucture or porpose. Per our <br /> calculations,the actual stresses are greater than two times the allowable aad would be <br /> defined as Dangerous by the ADB, Section 301. <br /> In lieu of office space,large signs may be posted at the top of both stairways saying <br /> "WARNING, maximum tloor load is 30 pounds per squaze foot" The signs must remain <br /> pem►anent and unobshucted. Further,copies of this letter shall be made aveilable W any <br /> cuaent or futurc tenants.
