At the time of the inspection the building <br /> was undergoing remodeling construction, and a bearing wa11 <br /> had to be replaced with a beam, the design of which was <br /> requested from this office. <br /> � The 21-foot beam is proposed to be at the roof level in the <br /> Southwest section of the building, and carries an 8-foot <br /> tributary width. The required size is (4 )-2"x12" and can <br /> be obtained by addinq (2)-2"x12" each side of the 2"x4" <br /> cripple wall at the roof level . Post each end �rith (2 )- <br /> 2"x4" each side to bearing.
