McCann of McCann Engineering visited the above <br /> site to observe the ecology block wall in question. The contractur(Paul Opie) and I <br /> discussed the construction of the wall, and it was agreed that the additional rebar as shown <br /> in the attached detail would be added. Structurally, I think this is an exceltent idea to <br /> further stabilize the top of the wall by employing the dead load of the parking lot slab. I <br /> have utilized similar details many times in the past to stabilize similar retaining walls. <br /> I concur with the wall section as detailed, with the added hand-drawn plan detail too.
