Mr, Fuller represented himself and made the statement that because of an error in figuring the square footage oi the buiidings, only forty-five (45) parking spaces were required rather than sixty-eight (68) . Mr, Jamie Johnson, the Building Official, verified this amount. Mr. Fuller also made the statement that there was other off-street parking available to the rear of his business and that he was allowed to utilize the parking ; spaces in that area. However, Lhe use of this parking has been by a verbal � agreement. j Mr. Ted Dahl, who owns the property to the southwest of 2902 Hewitt, was iagainst the grantinq of the variance for the followinq reasons: I ; 1. That such variance is necessary for the preservation and � enjoyment of a substantial property right of the appellant possessed by the owners of other properties in the same vicinity or zone. 2. That the authorization of such variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in the vicinity or zone in which the property is located. 3.
