The Uniform Buildin9 Code adopted by the City of <br /> Everett� Washin9ton requires certain fire resistive walls� opening <br /> protection, or yard space because of proximity of exterior walls to <br /> a property line or excessive building area, however, it is permissible <br /> for the Building Official to accept a 9uarantee from the owner to <br /> maintain ownership of one or more lots adjacent to the required <br /> yard and that in lieu of providing the required fire resistive walls, <br /> opening protection� or necessary yard space, said ow[�er will agree <br /> to the following covenant: <br /> NOW� THEREFORE� the undersigned hereby impose (s) upon the land <br /> described herein a covenant in order to obtain approval of an <br /> alternate to the Uniform Building Code provision of the City of <br /> Everett, described aforesaid.
