The fire escape in back xna rotten and badly deteriorated. <br />Further, the old sub-standard electrical wiring :ras recognized as a <br />potentia� cause of fire. <br />Becauae of the extenaive dilapidation and deterioration thet has been <br />permitted to accumulate over the years wlthout any maintenence or up- <br />keen, we suggest that you check Section 104(b) of the Uniform Building <br />Code, 19'f0 Edition, prior to any attempt to repair and occupy the eecond <br />floor. Mr. John Farrens of the Building Inepection Department could <br />best answer any queetione that you may have regarding Building Code re- <br />quirements.
