ISTAVENUE PoRTLAND,OREGON VIf01 778�961] <br />A JOINT VENTURE <br />July 23, 1973 <br />City of E��erett <br />Building Department <br />Everett, Washington 98201 <br />Attention; Mr. John Farrens <br />Reference: Hewitt Avenue Terminal - Pier Hydrants <br />Dear Mr. Farrens: <br />CI-71-155 <br />The Contractor has been unable to obtain the flush hydrants which <br />were specified in the plans and specifications for the new pier without <br />incurring a considerable delay in delivery time. <br />In order for the Port of Everett to utilize the pier at the earliest possi- <br />ble time we are requesting temporary substitution of standard hydrants <br />to be installed on the pier until the flush hyd:ants are delivered at <br />which time the contractor will replace the standard hydrants with the <br />liydrants originally specified. <br />We would appreciate your earliest attention and reply. <br />Sincere <br />� <br />L.
