Mr. Davis came into the ot:f:ice. I was <br />quite surpri�ed to a:ee him. We �at down and oroceed to <br />di�cuss t:he prop�ar'.y on High Street as well as other <br />properti.e:: Mr. D�ivi� owns around Ever.etY.. <br />Mr. D�via explained that he couldn't leave his wife Co work <br />� on the houses anymore. I told him that the work would have <br />��� to be h.ired out. I �xpl:iined the deteriorated state oL the <br />� � <br />house:s and tha f:ace that kids were cl.imbing on Lop of them <br />and could v��ry easily fall Lhrou9h the deteriorated roof.s. <br />�� He �nid he N.-nted to hire someone but they all wanted hourly <br />� � wages. <br />.• Taking another approar.h to the matter, I explained to Mr. <br />' Davis Lhat I would rather s�e him se11 the houses rather than <br />some 9etting hurt on the property and brinq a law ��uit <br />against him where he may loose everything. He said he <br />understood that and was greaCly concerned about the liability <br />of t.hose houses. <br />I a:ked Mr. Davi� if he had any children or family who could <br />possi�ly hel.p him in L'his situacion and he �aid no. I did <br />ask a personal quewCion of Mr. Davi^ and explained that he <br />didn't have to an3wer me. I asked what: his ay� is and he <br />replied "we:ll. over 80". <br />Mr. Davis aaid he r+ant.ed to wait until afCer t.he "Goodaill <br />Games" be£ore he placed the house� on the market. He f:clt <br />that he coul.d get a beLter price f.or them. Once aq�in, I <br />explained t:hat there would bc a time Prame from now until the <br />end of the Game3 when the house_i need maintenance work and <br />thi� gras� had to be cut.
