Everett Planning and CommuniCy Development <br />Uirec[or t�as found the house and garare aituated on the property located at <br />3919 High St. to be aubstandard and a public nuisnnce pursuant to the City <br />of Everet[ Uniform Housing f,ode; an�i <br />WliEREAS, [he Everett City Council finda that the Planning and <br />Community Development Director issued a Notice and Order requiring the owner <br />of thc property to repnir or demolish and remove the buildings from the <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finde that the repair or demolition of the <br />butldings has not taken place as was required in the Order; and <br />WFiEREAS, the City Council finde thu[ the Order issued hy [he Planning <br />and Community Development Direc[or was properly served on the owner of ehe <br />property in question; and <br />1,MEREAS, the City Council finds that the Planning and Community <br />Development Director has the authority to recommend this ac[ion pursuant to <br />the Uniform Housing Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds [hat [he owner has been given notice <br />ot this Councll meeting; and <br />WHEREAS� [lie City Council, up�n due consideration, deems it in Che <br />best interest of the health, safeey and welfare of [he public that a <br />Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of [he buildin�s; <br />NOW, THEREFORE AE IT RESOLVED BY TIIF. CITY OF F.VF.RF.TT: <br />1. That t'ie house and garage located at 3919 liigh <br />Was'.�in3ton, which is legally described as <br />condi'ions which endanger Che life, Limb, heal[h, <br />aud w_lfare of the public: <br />3 <br />Street, Everett, <br />follows, contains <br />property, safety <br />Lots 30 and 31� Dlock 5, Smy[h Land Company's 2nd Aridition Co <br />Eve:ett, as per plat recorded in Vulume 4 of Plats, pnge 25, records <br />of Snohomish Coun[y; <br />Situate in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, Sca[e of <br />Wushington. <br />That the above-deacribed proper[y Ss hereby declared to be <br />substandard as ia defined in the Uniform Houeing Code. <br />That the Planning and Community Developmen[ Director is hereby <br />authorized to have the buildings demollshed and cleared from saici <br />premises. <br />4.
